Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is recruiting a Graduate Digital Developer in Preston to help deliver our 'Tomorrow Now' strategy and drive data-led improvements across projects.

You’ll work with the Digital Team, build applications and dashboards with Power Platform, gather requirements, support testing and rollout, and learn from experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Analytics, IT or related.
• Interest in digital transformation and business improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications, dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power Platform.

• Promote user adoption through training, guidance and ongoing support.
• Visiting sites and offices to engage with teams and champion digital ways of working.

The Role

About You

We’re looking for a motivated graduate with a passion for technology, problem-solving and continuous improvement.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Analytics, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• An interest in digital transformation and business improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, reporting tools or data analytics software would be advantageous but is not essential.
