Job summary

VolkerStevin is seeking a Graduate Digital Developer in Preston, Lancashire to join our Digital Team. You will develop applications, dashboards and reports using Power Platform, gathering requirements and translating them into practical digital solutions within a large civil engineering context.

Working with project teams, you’ll support planning, testing and deployment of new digital initiatives, promote user adoption through training, and visit sites to champion digital ways of working.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Analytics, IT or related discipline.
• Interest in digital transformation and business improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Good organisation and time management; ability to manage priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, reporting tools or data analytics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing applications, dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Gathering requirements and translating business needs into practical digital solutions.
• Supporting the planning, development, testing and deployment of new digital initiatives.
• Assisting with the rollout and implementation of digital tools and technologies.
• Promoting user adoption through training, guidance and ongoing support.
• Visiting sites and offices to engage with teams and champion digital ways of working.
• Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Capturing and sharing best practice across the business.
