Arup, a global design and engineering consultancy, invites graduates to join its Urban Development and Mobility team. You will contribute to strategies blending economics, policy and the built environment across UK and international projects.
You're expected to support clients with business cases, economic appraisal and delivery planning, while collaborating with economists, planners, surveyors and engineers to deliver transformational outcomes.
You see the world through a unique lens and that’s exactly what we need. We embrace how you see things differently – it’s essential for creating a sustainable future.
Arup is a global consultancy with advisory and technical expertise across more than 150 disciplines. We guide, plan and design the future of the built environment. Globally, each year we recruit hundreds of graduates and students who help us see things differently and solve the most complex challenges facing our clients, climate and communities.
Arup's Urban Development and Mobility team provides strategic, financial and delivery advice to clients navigating transformative projects at the intersection of urban development, economic growth and transport investment. We help shape and deliver major, complex-built environment projects, from transport-led regeneration and housing growth to large-scale commercial development and infrastructure investment.
Successful urban development requires an understanding of both the tangible aspects of the built environment and the institutional context in which decisions are made. Our advice combines expertise in strategy, economics, policy and the built environment with financial, commercial and technical insight, helping clients turn large-scale ideas into deliverable and genuinely transformational outcomes.
Our team is multi-disciplinary by design and includes strategic economists, urban planners, surveyors, architects, business case practitioners and social value specialists. What connects us is an integrator mindset: we like solving complex problems by bringing together different perspectives and seeing the bigger picture.
