Job summary

Vital Energi is seeking a Graduate Pre Construction and Electrical Design Engineer to join our London team and help design low-carbon energy systems that power the UK’s future. You will work on major renewable energy and decarbonisation projects, producing calculations, drawings, and technical documentation with support from senior engineers.

You’ll gain exposure to heat networks and large-scale power generation, with a tailored development plan, mentoring, and a clear progression path through

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Pre Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Curious, motivated and excited by helping the UK reach Net Zero.
• Graduate with ability to produce calculations, drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce calculations, drawings and technical documentation for renewable energy, sustainability, power infrastructure and power generation projects.
• Work alongside experienced engineers who will support your development.
• Contribute to real projects from day one—not just shadowing, but actively helping deliver solutions that reduce carbon emissions across the UK.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and project types, from heat networks to large-scale power generation.
