Job summary

gforce employment + recruitment is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer in Salisbury, Wiltshire to join a specialist engineering business designing mineral processing equipment and plants. You will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Managers and the technical team to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings and supporting documents for manufacture and installation.

Qualifications

Experience as Graduate Design Engineer or similar
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Familiar with mechanical/process equipment design
CAD experience and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality 2D general arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings
Create and update 3D models of process equipment, structures, pipework and layouts
Interpret engineering calculations, specifications, sketches and marked-up drawings
Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation
Maintain drawing registers, revision control and technical files
Check drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards
Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and changes
Support projects from concept through manufacture and installation
