Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join a supportive team of engineers, designers and consultants. You will work on live projects across diverse sectors, assisting with calculations, drawings and documentation while learning how designs progress from concept to construction.

You'll benefit from a structured development programme through the Curtins Graduate Academy, mentoring, regular training and opportunities to engage in STEM and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree (or predicted) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in shaping sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors.
• Support engineering calculations, technical analysis and design development.
• Assist with preparation of drawings, reports and engineering documentation.
• Learn how engineering designs progress from concept through to construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create integrated solutions.
• Gain exposure to client meetings, project management and commercial awareness.
• Develop understanding of industry standards, regulations and best practice.
• Participate in STEM activities and Curtins events.
