KnowBe4 is seeking a Graduate Data Scientist - Cyber Analytics to join the Threat Research Lab in Cheltenham, United Kingdom. You will analyze threat data, create detection models, and contribute to end-to-end security solutions addressing phishing and social engineering threats.

The role requires a quantitative degree, strong SQL, and proficiency in Python or C#. You will work with ML libraries and learn rapidly to adapt to evolving threat landscapes in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Strong SQL for data extraction/manipulation
• Proficiency in Python or C#
• Familiarity with standard ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn/TensorFlow/PyTorch)
• Demonstrable ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Ability to think creatively about detection solutions

Responsibilities

• Analyzes threat data and implements technical solutions
• Innovate and extend detection paradigms end-to-end
• Review and reverse engineer phishing attacks and technologies
• Understand and implement broader attack vectors
• Develop detection algorithms (Python, C#) and extract identifying features of phishing emails
• Understand human behaviour to assess exploitation risks
• Use machine learning to identify phishing trends and guard against them
