Job summary

KnowBe4 in Cheltenham, United Kingdom, is seeking an Information Security Analyst to protect data by monitoring threats and implementing security measures. The role requires responding to alerts, conducting investigations, and addressing incidents while ensuring privacy, integrity, and availability of systems.

You will support platforms requiring UK SC Clearance and engage in threat hunting, security reviews, and vulnerability management within a remote-UK context.

Qualifications

• Security certification such as, one or more of, Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco Cyber Ops are desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge of information security concepts and best practices
• Experience with SIEM tools, log observability, Azure or AWS and other infosec related apps and tools preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred
• Experience with infosec testing tools and scripts
• Experience with AI tools (like Claude Code) to deliver data analysis and application development
• Familiar with Microsoft Sentinel and/or Elasticsearch
• Familiar with SaaS application concepts: secure configuration, API’s, logging, access control, permissions, troubleshooting
• Familiar with Docker and containerization is desirable
• Familiar with implementing secure IT SaaS applications
• Familiar with OWASP top 10 and MITRE ATT CK Framework
• Knowledge of various operating systems, ChromeOS, Linux, Mac, Windows
• Able to navigate the linux command line
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent time management and organization skills, Excellent Analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Responds to security alerts created across infosec alerting systems
• Escalates security alerts requiring further investigation
• Creates new security alerts and dashboards as needed
• Performs threat hunting across information security log feeds
• Creates Infosec policies, procedures, and playbooks
• Monitors, investigates and responds to security incidents
• Performs root cause analysis on identified vulnerabilities and incidents
• Conducts security reviews and penetration testing across company products and services
• Conducts vulnerability scanning and triages vulnerabilities across company products
• Monitor changes in the network and network activity for threats
