KnowBe4 in Cheltenham is recruiting a Graduate Data Scientist for its Threat Research Lab. You will analyze threat data, develop detection solutions, and extend end-to-end detection paradigms across phishing-related risks.

You will apply Python (or C#) and ML techniques to build detection algorithms, extract features, and understand attacker methods to improve KnowBe4's platform and defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient code.
• Proficiency in Python or C#.
• Familiarity with standard ML algorithms and libraries like Scikit-Learn or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Demonstrable experience in quickly learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Ability to think outside the box and deliver creative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Physics or a related quantitative field
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient code.
• Proficiency in Python or C#
• Familiarity with standard ML algorithms (e.g., linear/logistic regression, decision trees, random forests) and libraries like Scikit-Learn or TensorFlow/PyTorch
• Demonstrable experience in being able to quickly learn and adapt to new areas of technology
• Ability to think outside the box and/or think maliciously to deliver creative solutions.
