Data Science Analysts (Graduates 2024 or 2025), MSc in Physics or Maths preferred.

Hybrid working – 3 days in Borehamwood. Must have a driving licence as offices are not accessible by public transport.

Key Accountabilities:

• Partner with support departments to develop projects using data and statistics to identify trends and optimize decision-making.
• Perform statistical analysis on our customer base to formulate pricing or commercial strategies to optimize revenue.
• Deliver insights to support business decisions and design algorithms to improve pricing or operational strategies.
• Develop understanding of internal and external data sources.
• Collaborate with departments to promote best practices in analytics and experimentation.
• Design and build internal analytics and experimentation tools.

Experience & Skills Required:

• A Master’s degree in a quantitative subject, ideally Physics or Mathematics.
• Ability to interpret business questions, query data (SQL), and apply statistics.
• Understanding of statistics (probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, regression) with practical experience.
• Experience with statistical software and programming (R, SQL, Python, etc.) in datasets.
• Excellent communication skills to understand stakeholder needs and deliver findings.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience identifying opportunities for product or business improvements and measuring success.
• Experience with modeling techniques like time series forecasting, segmentation/clustering, anomaly detection.
