Data Science Analysts (Graduates 2024 or 2025), MSc in Physics or Maths preferred.

Hybrid working – 3 days in Borehamwood. Must have a driving licence as offices are not accessible by public transport.

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with support departments to discover and deliver projects using data and statistics to identify trends and optimize decision making.
• Perform statistical analysis on our customer base to develop pricing or commercial strategies to maximize revenue.
• Deliver insights to inform business decisions and design algorithms to improve pricing or operational strategies.
• Develop a thorough understanding of relevant data sources.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote best practices in analytics and experimentation.
• Design and develop internal self-service analytics and experimentation tools.

Experience & Skills Required

• A Master’s degree in a quantitative field, preferably Physics or Mathematics.
• Ability to interpret business questions, query data (SQL), and apply statistical methods.
• Solid understanding of statistics (probability, sampling, hypothesis testing, regression) with practical application experience.
• Experience using statistical software and programming languages such as R, SQL, Python, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills for understanding stakeholder needs and delivering findings.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience identifying opportunities for product or business improvements and measuring success.
• Experience applying modeling techniques like time series forecasting, segmentation, clustering, or anomaly detection.
