Vision for Education Ltd are recruiting graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across York. Start date is immediate and ongoing. Location: York, North Yorkshire.

As a Cover Supervisor you will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-prepared materials, maintain a positive classroom environment and help students stay on task. This flexible daily supply role is open to graduates and those with sports coaching or youth work experience.

You don't need a teaching qualification or previous experience as a Cover Supervisor. We are interested in people with strong communication skills, confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to manage groups of young people.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise secondary school classes during teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive engagement.
• Support students with their learning and provide assistance where appropriate.
• Work across a variety of secondary schools in York.
