Vision for Education is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors in York, North Yorkshire. No teaching qualification is required and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared materials and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

Ideal candidates are graduates with strong communication, confidence and enthusiasm, capable of managing groups of students across multiple schools. Flexible daily supply and longer-term placements available.

Salary: £100-£130 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches and individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to build a career in education.

You don't need a teaching qualification or previous experience as a Cover Supervisor. We are interested in people with strong communication skills, confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to manage groups of young people.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise secondary school classes during teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive engagement.
• Support students with their learning and provide assistance where appropriate.
• Work across a variety of secondary schools in York.
