Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across Manchester secondary schools from September 2026. This graduate-friendly role offers flexible assignments, no planning or marking, and a chance to gain classroom experience.

You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and contribute to a positive learning environment while developing behaviour management and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• UK Bachelor\'s degree required.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• References covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in secondary schools.
• Manage classroom behaviour according to each school policy.
• Create a positive, productive and respectful learning environment.
• Encourage student participation and maintain engagement throughout lessons.
• Think on your feet and respond calmly to different classroom situations.
• Follow school safeguarding policies at all times and provide feedback to staff.
• Represent Aspire People professionally in every school.
