Job summary

PK Education Limited is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience before teacher training.

You'll supervise KS3 and KS4 classes, use pre-planned activities, and build confidence in classroom management while supporting students with their work. DBS requirement noted.

Qualifications

• A degree or relevant experience working with young people
• Confidence communicating with secondary-aged students
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong organisational and behaviour management skills
• Reliability and flexibility
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for supervising secondary school classes when their usual teacher is absent.

The work will already be planned, so you won't be expected to create lessons from scratch. Instead, you'll explain activities, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused on their learning.
