Looking for a graduate role where you can help shape resilient places and tackle real-world flood risk challenges?
Join Tetra Tech's flood risk and drainage teams and support a wide range of technical work, including flood risk solution design, hydraulic modelling, hydrology assessment, drainage design and SuDS. You'll work across public and private sector infrastructure projects, from Flood Risk Assessments for developments of 10 homes to 5,000, through to local authority flood risk schemes and private sector site resilience challenges. Projects range from £1m to £100m across defence, transport, local government, infrastructure, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and residential sectors.
Working proactively and independently, you'll support projects from inception to close out — from understanding client briefs and developing technical solutions, through delivery and completion. You'll be backed by senior colleagues, while building confidence in project work and contributing to outcomes that reduce flood risk and support climate resilience.
Degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or Geography — BSc, BEng, MSc or MEng, with first or upper second class honours. You should be eligible for CEng MICE or chartered with CIWEM. You'll be enthusiastic, career-focused and interested in flood risk management, hydraulic modelling, catchment hydrology, natural flood risk management and environmental enhancement. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, flexibility and a full UK driving licence are desirable. Suitability for Security Clearance to minimum SC level is essential.
Based in either Leeds, Manchester or London, with UK-wide projects and occasional travel required, including some working outside normal office hours. Hybrid working may be available, with office time and flexibility shaped by project needs.
