You will help shape technically sound, practical and deliverable solutions, while supporting project teams to maintain momentum, quality and alignment with client objectives.

The role will involve taking ownership of defined workstreams, contributing to technical governance, guiding multidisciplinary coordination and helping ensure that risks, assumptions, interfaces and opportunities are clearly understood and managed. You will also support client engagement, technical approvals and the development of trusted, collaborative working relationships.

Collaborative Problem Solving

Strong ability to work across disciplines, drawing together engineering, environmental, stakeholder, commercial and construction perspectives to develop balanced and achievable outcomes.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Ability to build credibility with clients, delivery partners and stakeholders through clear communication, thoughtful technical input and a constructive, solutions-focused approach.

A proactive commitment to learning, sharing knowledge and supporting others, with the confidence to influence project direction and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree qualified in civil engineering, environmental engineering, flood risk management or a related discipline, with active progress toward chartership with MICE or MCIWEM.
  • You should have experience in civil engineering, flood risk management or a related discipline, with a growing reputation for technical quality, sound judgement and dependable project contribution.
  • Experience supporting option development, design coordination, technical reviews, construction-stage support or regulatory engagement would be advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to project or client locations is desirable.
Working Environment

This role can be based flexibly in the UK, with hybrid working supported.
