Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day communications with members, visitors and external contacts, ensuring interactions are professional, welcoming and engaging.
  • Draft clear and engaging email communications, including newsletters, event invitations and member updates.
  • Support the planning and delivery of a varied programme of events, from regular community socials to larger conferences.
  • Help identify and engage industry speakers, coordinating briefings and supporting event logistics.
  • Assist with requests for high-profile tours and conference bookings, helping to ensure an excellent experience for visitors.
  • Use CRM systems and Eventbrite to manage attendee information and track engagement.
  • Support post-event reporting and analysis.
  • Work with Catering, Administration and Marketing teams to ensure events and communications are delivered smoothly.
  • Contribute to wider community engagement and communications projects as required.

They are looking for a confident, personable and highly organised Graduate Communications Officer to support their communications, community engagement and events activity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in communications, events and stakeholder engagement. You will work across a varied programme of activity, developing your skills while helping to create an exceptional experience for members, visitors and partners.

As the Graduate Communications Officer, you will be:

Playing an important role in supporting day-to-day communications and community activity. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects as your experience develops.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting day-to-day communications with members, visitors and external contacts, ensuring interactions are professional, welcoming and engaging.
