Job summary

National Gas is launching an 18-month fixed-term Commercial Quantity Surveyor Graduate programme based at Bristol or Warwick, UK. You’ll gain hands-on experience across commercial activities, reviewing supplier proposals and contract information.

You’ll learn how large infrastructure projects are managed from a commercial perspective, gaining strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills within a major energy organisation. The role supports a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject or on track to achieve.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings clearly.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support review of supplier proposals and commercial information.
• Help analyse costs, pricing and contract information.
• Assist with contract administration and management activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations and project updates.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to gather information for decision-making.
• Learn how commercial teams manage contracts through their lifecycle.
