Job summary

A global infrastructure and environmental engineering consultancy is hiring a Graduate Coastal Engineer to join its specialist coastal and marine engineering team based in Basingstoke. This permanent role offers hands-on experience with projects related to coastal protection, flood defence, and marine infrastructure. Candidates should have a BEng in Civil, Structural, or Coastal Engineering and a strong interest in coastal and marine systems. The role includes support for professional accreditation and participation in a structured development program for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in relevant engineering discipline required.
• Interest in coastal and marine engineering projects essential.
• Comfortable with calculations, drawings, and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of coastal infrastructure projects.
• Carry out overtopping and flood risk assessments.
• Support inspections and detailed design of coastal structures.
• Design and model coastal structures such as jetties and breakwaters.
