Job summary

Milk Education are recruiting Graduate Classroom Supervisors to support 11-18 secondary schools in Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas, on an ongoing basis for the academic year.

Role involves delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the main class teacher, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, and following school safeguarding policies. No planning or marking is required; opportunity to gain classroom experience prior to teacher training.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level qualification required.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils.
• Follow and implement the school's Safeguarding and Behaviour policies.
• Liaise with the school's Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes.
• No planning or marking required.
