Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for its Civil and Structural Engineering Graduate Programme. You will work on high-profile infrastructure and defence projects across naval and nuclear operations, rotating through teams to gain broad experience in assessments, design and site support.

The two-year programme includes structured mentoring and masterclasses, with a clear path toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, and a permanent role on completion.

Qualifications

• Requires a BEng or MEng in Civil/Coastal/Structural Engineering or related Civil Engineering degree.
• Must be able to achieve BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, constructing and maintaining civil/structural projects across naval and nuclear sectors.
• Participate in rotations across teams to broaden experience in structural assessments and design documentation.
• Engage in site support, compliance processes and operational activities during placements.
• Access mentorship and graduate development masterclasses to build professional skills.
