Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its team. You will work alongside experienced engineers on development infrastructure projects from early concept through to detailed design and construction.

You will gain practical experience across roads, drainage and wider infrastructure, working on sectors including residential, logistics and manufacturing. A Civil Engineering degree is required or close to completion; prior consultancy experience is not

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Willingness to learn and work in a technical team.
• Interest in development infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support drainage and highway design on development infrastructure projects.
• Assist with development infrastructure projects from concept to detailed design.
• Produce technical drawings and design information for schemes.
• Support projects through planning and detailed design stages.
• Work with experienced Civil Engineers on live schemes.
• Develop technical knowledge and software skills.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
