Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Nottingham is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer (Highways) to kickstart their career with a prestigious firm. You will contribute to highway projects across Nottinghamshire, learning design processes, budgets and timelines, and gaining hands-on industry training.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in office), clear progression paths, and a strong focus on training, with 33 days holiday and flexitime to support work-life balance.

Formación

• Graduate Civil Engineer with a focus on highways design and development.
• Strong interest in learning industry-standard highways design processes.
• Ability to manage projects and meet quality, time and budget targets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and continuous improvement for highways, such as junction protections, road markings and signage.
• Ensure quality, budgets and time frames are met and manage Traffic Regulation Orders.
• Review externally designed schemes to ensure compliance with highway standards.
• Monday to Friday, flexitime available. Hybrid working hours 3 days in office.
