As a GROW graduate, you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to help you gain the skills needed to succeed.

As an engineer joining GROW, you will have the opportunity to specialise within your chosen discipline of engineering, ensuring you obtain the necessary experiences to become a technical expert. Being an Engineer at Arcadis involves applying a human filter to your technical expertise and training, making an impact through innovation and creativity. During the three-year programme, you will develop core engineering and consulting techniques applicable to work with clients in the UK and potentially internationally.

Our civil engineering community works across sectors including highways, rail, energy, and water management. Our projects vary in scale and scope:

• Highways Engineer: Contributes to the design and development of safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation systems, maintaining and enhancing road infrastructure quality.
• Water Management Engineer: Works on waste and clean water infrastructure, delivering sustainable solutions and ensuring resilience and quality of water supplies.
• Rail Engineer: Engages in all aspects of Civil Engineering, from earthworks to drainage, supporting railway infrastructure with efficient solutions.
• Energy Engineer: Supports clients in delivering new connections and grid upgrades to meet UK's Net Zero carbon ambitions.

The programme offers opportunities to grow skills in delivering sustainable solutions, with potential site visits and inspections.

• Roles within Highways, Water, and Energy are open to candidates with a BEng or MEng in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Roles within Rail require an MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduating or recent graduate with at least a 2:2 in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Demonstrates Arcadian skills such as Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders using technical knowledge.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible).
