Essar Oil (UK) Limited is offering a three-year graduate programme for a Chemical Engineering graduate based at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port. The role is a site-based, full-time position with a Monday–Friday pattern and a start intended for Autumn 2027 as a fixed-term contract.

You will rotate through the Technology function and gain hands-on exposure to production unit operations, monitoring performance, analysing data, and making technical recommendations to optimise

About the Role

What we offer:

• Three-year graduate programme offering structured internal placements across key areas of the department, designed to build broad experience and professional confidence

• Build a strong foundation of technical knowledge and practical experience to launch a successful long-term career at EET Fuels

About You

We are looking for:

• A graduate in Chemical Engineering with a minimum 2:1 grade


• Highly driven, dedicated, and focused individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to personal and professional development within Essar


• Excellent literacy skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


• Confident communicators, capable of expressing ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats


• Comfortable presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners


• Resilient and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to take ownership of tasks and challenges
