Job summary

Armstrong Watson invites applications for its Graduate Chartered Accountant programme in Manchester. From day one, you’ll work with real clients, gaining practical experience while pursuing the ACA qualification with full study support.

Joining a leading independent accounting firm, you’ll be part of a three-year rotation through Audit and Assurance, building strong client relationships and developing technical and professional skills to shape your early career as a trusted adviser.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline or be predicted to achieve it.
• Must hold at least 7 GCSEs at Grade 5 (C) or above, including Maths and English, or 6 National Five at Grade C or above.
• Must have 96 UCAS points from A Levels or equivalent qualifications, or Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Work within Audit at Armstrong Watson on real client assignments.
• Participate in a structured three-year training programme to qualify as Chartered Accountant.
• Benefit from full ACA study support and progression through the firm’s development programme.
• Develop technical, commercial and professional skills to become a trusted adviser.
• Explore career paths across Restructuring, Corporate Finance, and Business Services.
