Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Graduate CAD Designer for our Leicester LE2 location. You will create detailed CAD designs from customer artwork and liaise with customers to ensure the final design is fit for purpose.

You will receive full training, work in an employee-owned environment, and start on a salary of £30k with career development and on-the-job training. The role is permanent from day one and offers opportunities to learn tooling and machining processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in CAD design, graphic design or similar
• Experience using Autodesk, Superdraft, Adobe illustrator or photoshop
• Eagerness to learn and develop your career
• Able to reliably commute to LE2
• Enthusiastic attitude

We are looking for someone who has recently graduated with either a degree in CAD design or graphic design to join an employee owned business where you can kick-start your career for life.

Providing you have the relevant background (I.e. degree or workplace experience) full training will be provided.

What you will be doing

• Creating detailed CAD designs from customer artwork.
• Liaising with customers to ensure the final design is fit for purpose.
• Assisting in creating SOP for machinists (appropriate tooling, machining techniques, toolpaths etc.)
