Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd in Leicester is seeking a recent graduate for the Graduate CAD Designer role. You will create detailed CAD designs from customer artwork and support machinists with tooling and processes. This is a permanent, full-time position with a starting salary of £30,000 per annum.

We are looking for someone who has recently graduated with either a degree in CAD design or graphic design to join an employee owned business where you can kick-start your career for life.

Providing you have the relevant background (I.e. degree or workplace experience) full training will be provided.

What you will be doing

• Creating detailed CAD designs from customer artwork.
• Liaising with customers to ensure the final design is fit for purpose.
• Assisting in creating SOP for machinists (appropriate tooling, machining techniques, toolpaths etc.)

To be considered

• Relevant degree in CAD design, graphic design or similar
• Experience using Autodesk, Superdraft, Adobe illustrator or photoshop
• Eagerness to learn and develop your career
• Able to reliably commute to LE2
