Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a software engineer for the Southampton area. The role operates on a hybrid model with 1 day onsite and 4 days home working. A solid background in C++ is required, with exceptional graduates considered for the position.

You will develop and test C++ client code in a multitasking embedded environment, design interfaces, and deliver user stories within an agile framework. Streaming CI/CD tests and ongoing product improvements are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Solid background in C/C++ in a multitasking embedded environment.
• Bachelor-level degree in CS/Software/related field or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; self-learning ability.

Responsibilities

• Development and test of C++ client code in a multitasking embedded environment.
• Design software to meet customer and internal requirements, defining interfaces to other systems.
• Delivery of user stories and epics, contributing to features using agile planning.
• Implement automated tests that run CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to product stability, performance and quality using data, logging and metrics.
