Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is hiring a Graduate Buyer in Warrington to join a rapidly growing multinational supplier of indirect industrial products. You will receive hands-on training, exposure to engineering and maintenance procurement, and a clear path to progression within a supportive team.

You will source and procure engineering, maintenance and facility spare parts, manage requisitions and orders, negotiate terms, and work with maintenance and engineering teams to drive cost

Qualifications

• Graduate with a background in procurement or similar.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Interest in procurement, engineering or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure engineering, maintenance and manufacturing spare parts and services.
• Manage purchase requisitions, place purchase orders and expedite deliveries.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
• Resolve supplier, delivery and invoice queries while maintaining purchasing reports.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in procurement or a similar , looking to kick-start your career with a rapidly growing, multinational company that offers specialist training to build your skills and support your long-term career development?

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring engineering, maintenance and facility spare parts and services for manufacturing customers. You will manage purchase requisitions, place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and resolve supplier and invoice queries to ensure continuity of production. You'll work closely with customer maintenance and engineering teams while identifying cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiation and product standardisation.

This role would suit a recent Graduate with a background in procurement or similar, looking to launch a career in procurement with a growing business, offering specialist training and great career development.

The Role:
