The Opportunity

As a Graduate Business Development Executive, you'll play a key role in generating new business opportunities and supporting the wider sales team. You'll research potential customers, engage with decision-makers, understand business requirements and identify qualified opportunities. You'll develop your communication, negotiation and commercial skills while gaining valuable experience across the early stages of the sales process.

This role is designed for graduates who are ambitious, confident, resilient and eager to develop a career in sales. Previous sales experience isn't required — we're looking for the right attitude, motivation and potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective customers using phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Engage with prospective clients and introduce them to the company's products or services.
• Speak with business owners, managers and senior decision-makers.
• Qualify prospects and identify genuine business opportunities.
• Arrange qualified meetings and appointments for the wider sales team.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects.
• Understand customer requirements and identify potential solutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
• Work closely with experienced sales professionals to develop your commercial skills.
• Take part in regular sales training, coaching and development sessions.
• Consistently achieve and exceed activity and performance targets.
• Develop towards managing your own sales opportunities and progressing into more senior commercial positions.
