Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is offering a graduate Sales Trainee position in Crawley, West Sussex. Initially based internally before moving into client-facing work, the role provides a clear progression path toward handling meetings with architects, builders and developers.

You will learn all aspects of the business, shadow experienced sales staff, and aim to lead meetings independently as you progress. A company car becomes available after a four-month probation period, with a base salary of £29k plus

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Customers and Suppliers and communicate effectively and promptly
• Prepare and send quotes and sales information to customers as requested to agreed deadlines
• Arrange samples for projects and maintain stocks and showroom facility where applicable
• Use the company project HUB to provide administration support to the external sales team
• Be proactive in organising databases for mailshots and supporting company marketing activities
• Meet target income, procedures and KPIs to progress up the sales ladder
• Embrace training development on sales and product knowledge
• Any other duty deemed by directors to support team objectives

What would my role be?

As a Sales Trainee, you join a well-established sales team. You will largely representing their full range of brick and masonry products. In your first 12 months, you will learn all aspects of the business and will have lots of opportunities to shadow experienced sales team members on client meetings. In this role you will develop towards targeting architects, building contractors, property developers and house builders. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a sales career with a company that offers excellent rewards and progression.

The aim of this graduate role is to progress you into a client-facing position, initially going on meetings with another member of the sales team before starting to lead them independently.
