Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor to join its expanding London Building Surveying team. You will deliver surveying services, undertake condition surveys, prepare reports, and support project delivery across public, private, education, defence, and infrastructure sectors.

The role offers APC structured support with supervision, hybrid working, generous holidays, and ongoing technical training, with clear progression toward MRICS status.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited or equivalent).
• Working towards MRICS status.
• Minimum 12 months consultancy experience.
• Understanding of construction, contracts (JCT/NEC) and project delivery.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proactive team-oriented approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (AutoCAD/Revit advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of building surveying services across multiple projects and sectors.
• Undertake condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence.
• Prepare reports, specifications and schedules of work.
• Support project delivery, including contract administration under JCT and NEC.
• Assist with refurbishment, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Contribute to building safety and sustainability compliance (including CDM and BSA).

A leading Global Building Consultancy is looking to add a Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor to its growing London Building Surveying team in London & the South East.

The Role
