Job summary

GRAHAM is seeking a Graduate Assistant Building Services Manager to support planning, coordination and delivery of MEP services on interior fit-out projects across London and the South East. You will work with experienced teams to gain hands-on experience in coordinating service installations and reviewing designs.

This two-year programme develops technical and interpersonal skills, with mentored training aligned to a recognised professional qualification, enabling fast-track career progression

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Building Services or a related field with a 2:1 (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and IT skills are essential.
• Willing to travel within the UK and work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review of Mechanical and Electrical designs during pre-construction and live projects.
• Coordinate MEP services for interior fit-out projects and resolve design/installation challenges.
• Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings to provide support on building services matters.
• Assist on-site teams with management, coordination and QA of MEP installations.
• Support resolution of technical issues arising during construction.
• Coordinate with project and site management to align activities with the programme.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings and RFIs before submission to clients/consultants.
• Support development and implementation of commissioning and handover plans.
• Review ITPs and quality documentation for building services installations.
• Work with subcontractors to develop installation, testing and commissioning programmes.
• Assist with commissioning and handover including client demonstrations and production of O&M documents.
• Support post-completion activities and aftercare to ensure client satisfaction.
