Job summary

Arup is seeking an early career professional to join our Water BIM team, promoting the growth of the Arup Water Business. You will join a diverse team to deliver integrated BIM solutions together with designers, engineers and clients, driving outcomes for notable water clients.

We welcome graduates with engineering degrees focused on BIM, knowledge of Autodesk/Bentley, and the ability to work in 2D/3D, with strong data management, scripting, and visualization capabilities.

• Experience with Autodesk or Bentley software and cloud document environments.

We are seeking an early career professional to join our team in promoting the growth of the Arup Water Business, within our Water BIM team. You will join a team of professionals with diverse industry knowledge. With secured frameworks, we have a strong forward pipeline of opportunities with clients who share our passion for shaping a better world including Welsh Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent Water, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales

Is this role right for you?

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

• Minimum of a Bachelors DegreeinEngineering such as Civil Engineering; Electrical Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering , with a bias towards Digital Engineering and/or a Master'sdegree inBuilding Information Management.
• Knowledge of design software such as the Autodesk Suite or the Bentley suite and experience of working in cloud hosted document environments.
• Ability to draw in 2D and 3D software
• Knowledge of the BIM standards BS EN ISO 19650 and peripheral documents, such as AEC Protocol, and NBS
• Goodtechnical expertise and a sound comprehension of data management,scripting, webdevelopmentand visualisation work
• Experience in project modelling using multiple CAD applications
• Proven academic experience of utilising and deploying data solutions
• Awareness of front-end and back-end languages, and UK Adoptable Standards and programming applications
• Abilityto manage own work,goodcommunication skills,effectively translate technicallanguage to the language of business,strong problem solving skills, interest in working with clients
