Job summary

Arup is seeking an early career professional to join the Water BIM team in promoting the growth of the Arup Water Business. You will work with designers, engineers and clients to challenge assumptions and develop integrated BIM solutions.

Eligibility includes working rights in the UK, and recently graduated or soon to graduate in a relevant engineering degree with a BIM focus. The role offers a structured early career path within a global consultancy with generous benefits and progression

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a bias towards Digital Engineering and/or a Master's in BIM.
• Knowledge of design software such as the Autodesk Suite or the Bentley suite and experience of working in cloud hosted document environments.
• Ability to draw in 2D and 3D software
• Knowledge of BIM standards BS EN ISO 19650 and peripheral documents such as AEC Protocol and NBS
• Good technical expertise and a sound comprehension of data management, scripting, web development and visualization work
• Experience in project modelling using multiple CAD applications
• Proven academic experience of utilizing and deploying data solutions
• Awareness of front-end and back-end languages and UK Adoptable Standards and programming applications
• Ability to manage own work, good communication skills, effectively translate technical language to the language of business, strong problem solving skills

We are seeking an early career professional to join our team in promoting the growth of the Arup Water Business, within our Water BIM team. You will join a team of professionals with diverse industry knowledge. With secured frameworks, we have a strong forward pipeline of opportunities with clients who share our passion for shaping a better world including Welsh Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent Water, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales

Is this role right for you?

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

• Minimum of a Bachelors DegreeinEngineering such as Civil Engineering; Electrical Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering , with a bias towards Digital Engineering and/or a Master'sdegree inBuilding Information Management.
