Job summary

CBTax is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our Manchester/Northampton office network. You will learn consultative selling, identify decision-makers, and open conversations with business owners, directors and C-suite, while building a strong sales pipeline.

Open to graduates with drive and coachability, you can earn £50k+ in year one through uncapped commissions on top of a negotiable base. This is an excellent fast-track into high-performance sales within a global R&D tax

Qualifications

• Recent graduates from any degree discipline looking to break into B2B sales.
• Confident and sharp on the phone and in person; strong communicators who are persuasive and likeable.
• Money-motivated by the idea of earning £50k+ in year one.
• Competitive, coachable and resilient; hungry for real career progression.

Responsibilities

• Learn consultative selling, objection handling, R&D tax fundamentals and high-impact outreach from top performers.
• Prospect leads, identify decision-makers, and open conversations with business owners, directors and C-suite.
• Qualify leads and book high-quality meetings (pipeline is your main metric).
• Structure your day using Salesforce, sequencing tools and LinkedIn.
