Job summary

Actemium Automation, part of the VINCI Energies group, is seeking a driven Graduate Automation Engineer to join our UK team. You will help deliver automation solutions for blue-chip clients in regulated sectors such as Food & Beverage, Manufacturing and Water.

You will support design, development and testing of industrial automation and control systems, contribute to documentation, and gain hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs and SCADA platforms on client sites.

Qualifications

• Degree (or near graduation) in Electrical Eng, Automation, or related field.
• Interest in automation and digital technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office; willingness to learn automation software.
• Collaborative and able to work in project teams on client sites.
• Full UK driving licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and testing of automation and control systems.
• Produce technical documents: specs, drawings and records.
• Configure and program PLCs, HMIs and SCADA platforms.
• Support system integration, testing, fault-finding and commissioning at client sites.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients and suppliers to deliver on time and safely.
• Follow applicable engineering standards, quality procedures and health and safety rules.
• Participate in training to build technical and professional capabilities.
