Job summary

Airbus is recruiting a Graduate - Structures Additive Manufacturing Design Engineer as part of the AGGP2027 programme. This two-year development path includes rotations, leadership development, and hands-on work with optimisation-driven design and additive manufacturing for aircraft parts.

You will gain experience through a mix of design tools (CATIA, 3DX) and AM processes, with opportunities to work across multiple aircraft programmes and collaborate with design offices worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree-level or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
• Recently graduated or first professional experience in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
• Self-awareness and readiness to lead your own development.

Responsibilities

• Co-Design and Manufacture of aircraft parts using optimisation-driven design and Design for Additive Manufacturing concepts.
• Learn/evolved tools: ToffeeAM, Ntopology, Altair Optistruct; Design: CATIA, 3DX; Build files for in-house AM machines.
• Collaborate across areas of the business to identify opportunities for Additive Manufactured parts.
