Job summary

FD Intelligence (FDI) is seeking an AI Graduate Scientist to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions in our Glasgow office. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team on NLP, computer vision, and ML to solve real-world problems, with a strong emphasis on business impact and scalable deployment on Azure.

The role is ideal for someone with a strong mathematical background and a passion for AI research, offering collaborative growth and a clear path into senior research or engineering

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical background in algebra, number theory, and statistics.
• Proficiency in Python and major AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Understanding of NLP, computer vision, and information retrieval techniques.
• Experience deploying AI applications in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Research & Development: investigate and implement advanced AI/ML algorithms for document intelligence.
• Product Innovation: contribute to flagship document intelligence platform using NLP and computer vision to extract, classify, and structure data.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): architect and implement intelligent retrieval systems (GraphRAG, ScaNN).
• Full-Stack AI Deployment: build, test, and deploy AI-powered bots and web apps on Microsoft Azure.
• Enterprise AI Integration: develop MCP systems to integrate models with enterprise data sources.
• Explainable AI: research and apply model interpretability techniques for reliability.
• Continuous Learning: stay updated with state-of-the-art AI research.
