My client is a well-respected acoustics consultancy with a strong presence in the United Kingdom. They are engaged in an extensive array of projects spanning multiple industries and have played a key role in major endeavours like Heathrow Airport and Crossrail in the United Kingdom. Specialising in acoustics and vibration, the consultancy is committed to continuous growth and is looking to expand its diverse team.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree in Acoustics or a related field, with membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Proficient in structuring and prioritising work in close collaboration with the team.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites at short notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with key site managers, line managers, and other major site stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting onsite testing, including noise and vibration surveys, to gather data for the development of comprehensive reports.
  • Performing acoustic modelling using CaDnaA, Odeon, Insul, and Revit software.
