Our client is recruiting for a Graduate Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Hybrid working is offered with a role: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The offices are based in Bellshill, and due to the location of the organisation, it is essential that you have access to your own transport.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a relatively large finance function as part of a smaller sub-team, you will undertake full transactional and management accounting duties. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: invoicing, prepayments, accruals, reconciliations, monthly management accounts, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Experience is not required. The organisation is looking for graduates who hold a degree, ideally within a relevant discipline (accountancy, business, etc.), but will also consider graduates from other subjects. Full training will be provided. The organisation offers study support, so candidates must be passionate about pursuing a career in accountancy and continuing studies in this field. You should be self-motivated, ambitious, with a desire to learn and develop.
