Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal part in the smooth running of our finance function for both Fruition Group and Enablis Consulting. You will undertake the day-to-day transactional finance tasks together with ad-hoc tasks where required.

There is excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of all aspects of finance as you will work closely with the rest of the team. You will communicate with clients, suppliers and contractors through both verbal and written communication and you will also act as a first point of contact for financial queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile transactions across multiple bank accounts in various currencies.
• Reconcile company credit card transactions, obtain receipts and accurately categorise expenses.
• Liaise with recruitment consultants and clients regarding invoice queries.
• Issue client invoices promptly and accurately (for both companies, including permanent and contractors) and respond to queries arising.
• Monitor aged debt closely, ensuring timely client payments and initial follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process supplier invoices promptly, respond to queries, obtain necessary approvals for payments and process supplier payments.
• Processing of weekly contractor payroll for both companies including transferring data into the accounting system.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and suppliers, ensuring all necessary verification is completed.
• Obtain and monitor expenditure on purchase orders received from clients.
• Manage the finance email inbox.
• Cover business as usual tasks for the finance team through team absence.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Key Skills and Capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - creating formulas.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail; well organised.
• Proactive and independent thinker.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable 1-2 years preferable.
• Apprenticeship or degree in Finance or Accountancy desired.
• Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement skills.
• Good written communication skills.
• Experience using the telephone in a professional environment is desirable.
• Experience within an Accounts Department is desirable.
