Job summary

Step Into Teaching Limited is seeking an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Rubery, Birmingham. You will support English lessons for KS3/KS4, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and help pupils develop reading, writing and analytical skills.

This is a full-time, term-time role with DBS checks required. Ideal candidates are recent English graduates (or final-year students graduating in 2026) with strong communication skills and a genuine interest

Responsibilities

Step Into Teaching is recruiting an enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in the Rubery area.

What will you be doing?

Who we're looking for

• A degree in English, English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing or a related subject, with a 2:2 or above
