Job summary

Stepintoteaching is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Crosby (L23) to recruit a Graduate Academic Coach for a September 2026 start. This role provides hands-on experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and the chance to support students with SEND and SEMH needs.

Qualifications

  • Hold (or are predicted) a 2:2 degree or above.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups with students, including those with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Implementing strategies to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement.
  • Assisting in the delivery of tailored interventions and differentiated learning activities.
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour in a calm, consistent manner.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with students to support their development.
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportiveSecondary school in Crosby L23to recruit afull-time Graduate Academic Coachfor a September 2026 start. Interviews will be taking place throughout June/July.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, while also developing key skills supporting students withSpecial Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)andSocial, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)needs.

What You’ll Gain:
