Job summary

Saffery in the United Kingdom is offering a three-year training contract to study toward the ACA qualification. You will follow a structured development programme combining professional study with on-the-job learning and mentorship.

The programme welcomes graduates and career changers with no prior relevant work experience, with exemptions possible for AAT Level 4. You’ll gain exposure to a range of accounting, tax and advisory work and progress toward becoming a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

• 2:1 undergraduate degree (expected or obtained) in any discipline.
• 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers.
• GCSE Maths and English Language (6/B) - required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial statements, management accounts and related analysis.
• Work with client financial data using a range of accounting systems and tools.
• Assist with resolving day-to-day accounting queries as you gain experience, building confidence over time.
• Prepare accurate, high-quality work for review by senior team members.
