Job summary

Saffery in the United Kingdom is offering a four-year trainee program to study ACA while gaining on‑the‑job audit experience with a supportive, inclusive culture. You’ll work on planning and executing audits across diverse clients, with structured tuition via Kaplan, six‑week business simulation, and exemptions if eligible at AAT Level 4.

You’ll develop professional skills and build relationships with clients while progressing toward qualification.

Qualifications

• 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths and English Language at minimum grade 6/B.
• AAT Level 4 qualification welcomed; ACA syllabus required.

Responsibilities

• Lead through the stages of an audit from planning to completion.
• Support audit engagements for clients across diverse industries.
• Prepare audit documentation and working papers.
• Work with client data across accounting systems and audit tools.
• Assist with planning and fieldwork on client sites.
• Build client relationships to understand their business.
• Identify differences or inconsistencies in financial information.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality audit work on time.
