Job summary

Saffery Champness in Bristol is seeking a Graduate Audit Trainee (ACA) starting September 2027 to begin your career in audit, studying towards the ACA qualification and supporting client engagements. The firm offers a three-year training contract with full support, access to tuition centres, and hands-on experience working with clients across varied sectors.

Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome, with no prior work experience required; AAT Level 4 may exempt, otherwise the full ACA

Qualifications

2:1 undergraduate degree required.
Minimum 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers.
GCSE Maths and English Language at 6/B or better.
AAT Level 4 qualification may exempt you from parts of the ACA syllabus.

Responsibilities

Take part in audit stages from planning to completion.
Support audit engagements across diverse industries by testing financial information.
Prepare clear audit documentation and working papers.
Work with client financial data using accounting systems and audit tools.
Assist with planning and fieldwork on client sites.
Build relationships with clients to understand their business.
Help identify differences or inconsistencies in financial information.
Deliver high-quality audit work to deadlines with teammates.
