DNV’s business area Maritime is going through a digital transformation. Our core business is to ensure that ships are correctly designed, built, and operated. Our customers trust DNV with access to ships and their data for witnessing and confirming ship safety and sustainability through our inspection and certification processes.

The Maritime industry needs to reduce CO2 emissions from international shipping. DNV is a key player to help the industry reach these goals. The shipping industry is now changing by using AI and new types of data streams from sensors, drones and automated processes. DNV is at the forefront of this development, using new technology and AI for data-driven verification and AI-augmented processes. The combined solution of our ~400 applications including new technology and AI supports all aspects of the business for both our customers and internal users worldwide - and are delivered continuously several times per week.

We deliver modern business-to-business services both on-prem and in the cloud on a .NET/web-based technology stack using best practice agile methods. Together with our data science team we are regarded as a key player in taking DNV’s business into the future.

DNV is now looking for a graduate ready to join the application development team from August 2026.
